Empathy Culture Working Environment and Its Impact on Performance

If the company known as Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Employee Performance Goals on civil servants or employees of the state apparatus to measure the performance achieved each employee individually. The system should accommodate the mental attitude of empathy of each employee into components that must be taken into account. Given that there is no operational success of an institution based on individual skills alone but team work ..!. Empathy is the ability to understand others and a desire to treat others as he was treated.


The following tips create a system that can create a culture of empathy your workplace:

  1. Create openness access systems open communication between superiors and subordinates without going through a complicated bureaucracy. Could be through internal communication forum (LAN) or SMS directly or internal community of companies / institutions through the gadget. Bosses can get various kinds of information from the front office and the various groups making it easier to recognize the real condition of the organization. Sometimes frontliner  employees who rarely communicate directly with top management can provide accurate information about the changing demands of society. 
  2. Respect Success Teamwork Create a reward system that accommodates the success of a team of a whole range of departments if possible can get bonus teamwork outcome (financial reward) and of course praise or rewards that can be known to all elements of employees in the organization. Each employee is not only motivated to fulfill the need of superior ego and recognation individually but also have the skills to build a successful team.
  3. Employee Appreciation Empathy Give a supervisor assessment tools to employees who have a concern for the success of a division of labor in addition to assessment results and the value of individual attitudes. The creation of a spirit of mutual cooperation and result orientation to each individual employee. So there is no wait between each other on the field of work units concerned. To be continued ..
